FMD ENGINEERING, INC is an Engineering firm providing quality structural design services in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. We service architects, landscape architects/designers, contractors/builders, owners, and developers throughout the Bay Area. We make sure to communicate and collaborate effectively to expedite our projects.

Our founder and principal engineer, Francisco Duarte, has over 25 years of structural engineering experience. He makes sure to remain updated on the ever-evolving building codes, applications of modern construction technology, and effective use of computers and software to ensure a quality, cost-effective design.

Francisco’s approach is hands-on and on-site, with each project getting personal attention. He takes pride in being an effective problem solver and responds to all construction issues in a timely fashion before and during the construction phase.
